The SIMPLICITY program is co-led by Prof. John Maeda (vision/operations lead), Prof. Dan Ariely (analytics/psychology lead), and Henry Holtzman (technology/privacy lead). The program draws upon a team of over thirty world-reknowned principal investigators that form the faculty of the Media Lab. Each research unit is powered by teams of MIT undergraduate and graduate students that invent in the language of working prototypes that we refer to as demos.

SIMPLICITY is an experimental research program at the MIT Media Lab, focused on developing technologies for design—designs that are simpler to understand, easier to use, and, ultimately, more enjoyable.
